Apostille or Authentication of Official Seals for Public Documents
From ¥11,000 (tax included)For one type of Japanese public document, we review the destination, receiving authority, and intended use, then assist with the appropriate apostille or authentication procedure.
Notarization and Authentication of Private Documents
From ¥16,500 (tax included)For powers of attorney, declarations, agreements, and other private documents, we review the document type, notarization method, certification route, and receiving authority before providing a quote.

Translation & Translation Certificates
English Translation and Translation Certificate for Overseas Submission
From ¥8,800 (tax included, per A4 page)For one standard Japanese official document, the fee includes Japanese-to-English translation and a standard translation certificate issued by our office. PDF delivery is standard.
Japanese-English / English-Japanese Translation of Contracts and Legal Documents

Contract & Agreement Drafting
Drafting a New Contract
From ¥27,500 (tax included)For one standard Japanese-language contract, the fee includes organizing the transaction terms, preparing the first draft, and up to two standard rounds of revisions.
Drafting an Agreement or Memorandum
From ¥27,500 (tax included)For a comparatively simple agreement or memorandum, we review the terms to be documented and prepare the draft within the agreed scope.
Review of an Existing Contract
From ¥16,500 (tax included)Review of a contract you have prepared or received from another party is quoted individually based on the length, requested scope, and desired form of comments or revisions.

Secondhand Dealer License Applications
Individual Application
From ¥27,500 (tax included)For a standard individual application involving one business location, the fee covers document preparation and filing with the relevant police station.
Corporate Application
From ¥38,500 (tax included)For a standard corporate application involving one business location, the fee covers document preparation and filing with the relevant police station.
Online Sales URL Notification and Supporting Materials
From ¥5,500 (tax included)This fee applies when requested together with the license application.
Change Notification or License Amendment
From ¥11,000 (tax included)This fee is based on one straightforward change.
Document Preparation Only
From ¥16,500 (tax included)For a standard individual application involving one business location, we prepare the application documents based on the information and materials you provide. You will file the application with the police station yourself.

Demand Letters & Formal Notices
Drafting a Demand Letter or Formal Notice
From ¥13,200 (tax included)We review the relevant background and requested outcome, then prepare a draft for a formal notice, including documents intended for Japan Post’s content-certified mail service where appropriate. One standard round of revisions is included.
Review of Your Existing Draft
From ¥11,000 (tax included)We review the wording, content, and formal presentation of a draft that you have prepared.
Drafting and Mailing Arrangements
From ¥16,500 (tax included)In addition to preparing the draft, we format the document as needed and arrange the mailing procedure.

Ownership Transfer Registration for a Small Vessel
From ¥11,000 (tax included)For a standard sale or transfer of a registered small vessel in Japan, we review the required documents, prepare the application documents, and handle the ownership transfer registration procedure with JCI.

From ¥9,900 (tax included)Professional fees vary by ward: ¥9,900, ¥11,000, or ¥12,100. The police application fee of ¥2,400 is separate.
Light Vehicle — Tokyo 23 Wards
From ¥7,700 (tax included)Professional fees vary by ward: ¥7,700, ¥8,250, or ¥8,800. There is no police application fee for the light-vehicle notification.

Published Fees
The fees shown are general guidelines for standard matters. All listed fees include Japanese consumption tax.
Third-Party Costs and Expenses
Government fees, notarial fees, fees for obtaining official certificates, international shipping, consular fees, and other substantial or variable third-party costs are generally charged separately. Ordinary domestic postage and routine local travel are normally reflected in the quote unless otherwise stated.
Formal Quote
After reviewing the document volume, complexity, deadline, receiving authority, and service area, we provide a quote before you decide whether to proceed.
Additional Fees
If work outside the original scope becomes necessary, we explain the additional work and fee before proceeding.
Payment Methods
Payment can be made by bank transfer or credit card. We will provide payment instructions and timing before work begins.
